We found this ring in a dealer partner's estate liquidation trays, and while it's not in perfect condition and shows plenty of wear, we got a good price on it and wanted to pass that on to our customers.
It's a yellow tag item without printed specs on the tag, but before walking out the door with it we had a GIA-certified gemologist give us the details on the diamond complement.
The ring is solid 10K Yellow Gold, fully hallmarked, and has plenty of wear to the gold. It still presents nicely, as you can see by our closeup photos, but it's far from flawless. It features .78ctw of baguette and round cut Brown Diamonds with Light Brown color and SI2/I1 clarity.
The ring weighs 8.1 grams, but even accounting for the weight of the diamonds, at current gold prices the gold melt value of the setting alone is more than $500. At our ask price of $495, you are literally getting the diamonds for free. We are charging you melt value for the gold in the setting, and you are getting the diamonds for free.
The band is a size 8 as measured on our own ring mandrel, but if you have smaller fingers we can put a removable soft ring noodle on the shank so it can be worn on fingers smaller than size 8.
The ring does come from a non-smoking home, free of residue or staining.
