We found this untagged ring in the estate trade-in trays of one of our dealer partners, and while it's not the kind of piece that will find space in a jeweler's showcase we thought our customers would appreciate a good deal on a pretty ring that presents very nicely.
It's solid 10K Yellow Gold, fully hallmarked, with a pretty filigree overlay protecting what we think is a chunk of polished Jadeite. The ring does show wear, including gentle marks to the Jadeite, but you can see in our photos that we weren't shy about getting up close and showing the ring off.
The total weight is 7.0 grams, and even if we assume that almost half of that weight is the Jadeite there's still almost $250 worth of gold in the setting. So, we're selling it for precisely that - the gold melt value in the setting. You're getting the Jadeite for free, and a pretty jewelry item for only the melt value of the gold.
It's a size 6.25 as measured on our own ring mandrel. The top setting measures 15mm wide across the widest point, and we included a photo of the ring between a dime and quarter for visual size perspective. You can see that it's not a tiny ring - this one has a big presentation!
It does come from a non-smoking home, free of residue or staining.
