This pretty ring features a beautiful 10K yellow gold band and setting, fully hallmarked, with a great Tiger's Eye Quartz cabochon showing fantastic chatoyancy.   That term describes the "cat eye" effect you see down the center, and you can see this gemstone was cut to perfectly show off the refraction effect that creates the "cat's eye".   No matter what angle we photographed the ring from, you can see the cat's eye - it's prevalent at every angle and in all lighting, evidence of a very well-cut stone.
 
The band is a size 8.25 as measured on our own ring sizing mandrel.  The top setting measures approximately .6" x .5", and the ring weighs 3.2 grams.  At current gold prices the setting is worth $175 just for the melt value of the gold alone.  Our buy price is a very modest premium over gold melt value.
