This ring is a bit of a sleeper.  First, it's solid 10K Yellow Gold, but its appearance is closer to 14K purity gold.  The chemical difference between 10K and 14K gold is that 10K has more alloy - copper, zinc, silver - than pure gold in its mix, so it often looks less rich or "golden hued" but in this case the ring has that 14K appearance.  
 
It also features a beautiful 7.00 carat Swiss Blue Topaz joined by .35ct of White Topaz.   At first glance, you might think those are big diamonds, but you get the nice contrast of White Topaz against the Blue Topaz but without the commensurate cost of diamonds that big.
 
Last, it is a fairly heavy ring, weighing in at 6.6 grams, with a dynamic art deco design.    Just the intrinsic gold melt value in the setting is almost $260 for the gold alone.  
 
All together, it's much nicer than the price tag, and at the small premium over gold melt value that we're asking it's also a fantastic buy.
 
The top setting measures .65" x .5" fully across the setting and the band itself is a size 7 as measured on our own ring sizing mandrel.
