One of our jewelry dealer partners had this in their showcase with a tag price of $1095, but we're offering it for $400 less, and a very modest premium over gold melt value.
It's solid 14K Yellow Gold, fully hallmarked, not only with the requisite "14K" stamp but also "JTC 969". The jewelry historians out there will recognize that stamp as coming from the Jewelry Trade Corporation, a high-end jewelry line manufactured for Zales back in the '60s and '70s.
The ring features a total of 1.08ctw of H/I color White Diamonds, average clarity grade of I-1, with fantastic sparkle and life. The top setting measures almost 15.5mm x 13.5mm, and the band is a size 6.5 as measured on our own ring mandrel.
The total weight is 5.4 grams, so just the gold melt value is over $475. Our ask price is a very modest premium over gold melt value, especially with more than a full carat of H/I round brilliant cut diamonds.
It's in excellent condition, very nicely preserved, and from a non-smoking home. Even picky buyers will be elated with this piece.
