We found this gorgeous ring in a partner dealer's showcase with a tag price - tag still attached - of $1395, but we're offering it for a full $600 less.
 
It features a heavy solid 14K Yellow Gold setting displaying a 1.39ct natural oval Tanzanite joined by twelve (12) round brilliant cut diamonds totaling almost half a carat (.42ctw) of White Diamonds with K/L color and I-1 clarity.
 
The tanzanite boasts beautiful color and the entire ring is in excellent condition.  The Tanzanite itself has been very nicely preserved, with only some very minute abrading along the facets near one end, but you'll need a 10x jeweler's loupe to see these imperfections.  As you can see by our photos, with plenty of closeups, it presents beautifully and even up close through the camera lens - which sees things at a 6 inch distance while the human eye can't focus below 12 inches - it's very difficult to see any imperfections.   Again, it's not a flawless ring, but it should be please all but the pickiest buyers.
 
The top setting measures 8.75mm x 6.5mm which represents the dimensions of the Tanzanite, with a rise of 8.25mm / .35" up off the finger.  Total weight is 6.2 grams, and the ring is a size 8.25 as measured on our own ring sizing mandrel.
 
Just the gold melt value of the setting alone is almost $400 at current gold prices.
 
The ring comes from a non-smoking home, free of staining or residue.
