One of our dealer partners had this in their estate liquidation trays with a tag price of $1000, but we got one look at it and knew our customers would jump all over it, and we're pricing it $300 lower.
The tag doesn't include the diamond specs, so we had a GIA-certified gemologist give us the rundown on these diamonds. The ring features nine (9) Marquise-cut diamonds of tapering size, with the largest stone at the center, and the nine diamonds total 1.55ct with H color and I-2 clarity.
The ring itself is solid 14K Yellow Gold and is fully hallmarked. It not only features the requisite "14K" mark, but the diamond carat weight of "1.55" is hallmarked inside the shank as well. There are clearly defined designer marks as well, with a script letter "L" and star symbol, but we've yet to determine which jewelry company that mark is associated with.
The band is a size 6.75 and weighs 3.3 grams total. The top setting measures 7.9mm across the center diamond setting.
It's in fantastic condition, and all of the diamonds are free of chips or gouges. Whomever owned the ring previously took great care of it and even picky buyers will be happy with this one.
