This pretty ring starts with a solid 18K White Gold band and setting, fully hallmarked inside the shank. 18K White Gold is a fairly soft metal, so the hallmark is partially rubbed off, but you can see the "1" and parts of the "8" and we also fully tested the gold using a professional metal analyzer. Gold purity of 18K is fully guaranteed.
The ring has nice heft to it with a total weight of 7.2 grams, almost a quarter of an ounce. Even adjusting for the weight of the turquoise the melt value of just the setting alone is almost $690. Our ask price is a very small premium for the diamonds that make this ring sparkle.
It features twenty (20) round cut white diamonds approximately 3 points in size each for a total carat weight of .60ctw. The diamonds boast I/J color and clarity varies from SI-1 to I-2.
The turquoise measures 13.75mm x 10.5mm with nice baby blue color. The turquoise is not flawless with a small wear mark that can be seen in our photos, it looks like a small dark spot about the size of the head of a pin.
The ring presents nicely overall, and because of the heavy gold weight you're paying very little premium for a wearable jewelry item with more than half a carat of white diamonds.
It's a size 7.25 as measured on our own ring mandrel, and it does come from a non-smoking home.
