It's a solid 18K Yellow Gold beauty, fully hallmarked, with pretty filigree goldwork surrounding a gorgeous 12.5mm x 10.5mm natural Amethyst with superb color and clarity, and a fantastic pavilion cut creating so much sparkle as light refracts through the stone.
 
The band is a size 6 as measured on our own ring mandrel, and it weighs 4.8 grams.  Even accounting for the weight of the Amethyst, there's still almost $450 worth of gold in the setting alone.  Our buy price is a very modest premium above gold melt value.
 
The ring is in superb condition, as you can see by our closeup photos - we were not shy about getting up close and letting you see the details.   It's also from a non-smoking home, free of residue or staining.  Even picky buyers will be pleased.
