AFW was the original seller of this Bellarri ring, and it's back on consignment from a one-owner non-smoking home in fantastic, unaltered condition.
This "Colors of Passion" design is a perfect example of the artistry that created so many dedicated Bellari fans - it's not only a ring it's also a conversation piece. In terms of gemstone variety, gold filigree, and quality of gemstone cuts and color, it's a work of art. Unfortunately, these older legacy designs are getting harder to locate, so we're very excited to be able to add this to the site.
It starts with a heavy and substantial solid 18K Yellow Gold band and setting and features a 4.87 carat faceted natural amethyst center stone. That big center is surrounded by more amethyst on all four sides of the top setting, plus trillions of rhodolite, amethyst, topaz and peridot at the corners plus more of those same stones decorating the side galleries of each of those corner settings. But there's more...there are tapered-length baguettes of rhodolite, amethyst & green tourmaline on both sides of the ring, plus 9 points of genuine white diamonds set in rhodium flanking the side arrangements.
The total carat weight of all the gemstones accenting the center stone is 8.20ct for a total of more than 13 carats of natural untreated gemstones.
The top setting measures .65" x .75" with a rise of .35" up off the finger. It weighs 13.5 grams, almost half an ounce. With gold at $3650 per ounce as of this writing, Bellarri can't make rings like this anymore, with heavy shanks like this.
The band size is an unaltered 7.25. It has never been sized - the Bellarri hallmarks are still clear at the bottom of the shank, verifying it has never been altered - it just came from the factory a little larger than a standard 7.
As you can see by the closeup photos of the bottom of the shank, the ring looks great, even in the area where we'd expect the most wear from normal contact with tables, desks, etc.
