We saw this beauty in a dealer partner's showcase, with a tag price of $1795, and we knew our customers would love to see it on our site. It's a simple design but with a fantastic presentation.
It starts with a solid 14K yellow gold band, fully hallmarked, that feels substantial in the hand with excellent tactile feel. It weighs a full 9.3 grams - for reference, a 25 cent Washington quarter coin weighs 5.6 grams, so this ring feels almost 70% heavier than a quarter. It measures 10.75mm wide across the top of the setting, tapering down to 6mm wide at the bottom of the shank.
It features forty-three (43) round brilliant cut diamonds totaling a full 2.02ct, with J/K color and I1-2 clarity. As you can see by our closeup photos, while the ring isn't flawless, it presents beautifully and those diamonds absolutely glow - and this is with indoor studio lighting. Wait until you get this out into bright sunshine!
The ring is a size 6.75 as measured on our own ring mandrel. Our dealer partner priced it at $1795 when gold was much lower in price, but even still we're not only going to stay under that price - even with gold now selling for $4700+ per ounce - but we're going to price the ring a full $500 lower at only $1295. Just the gold melt value of the setting alone is $800, without even accounting for the value of 2+ carats of diamonds.
It is also from a non-smoking home, free of residue or staining. Even picky buyers should be pleased with the condition.
